Lego fans from across East Devon are being invited to a special Christmas Lego Party in Budleigh Salterton.

The event, put on by a company called Lego Bricks, will include building Lego cities, driving and racing remote control Lego vehicles, a competition to build the best character and a Lego Robot Wars competition.

If you just want to go along and build your own creation that works too, as there will be lots of Lego on hand to fuel your creative side.

Event organiser Catherine Fitzgerald said: "People of all ages love Lego and this party will showcase some of the amazing things you can do with it.

"It's all in aid of St Peter's C of E Primary School in Budleigh. We expect Lego lovers to come along and enjoy a couple of hours of play in the run up to Christmas. If you love Lego don't miss this fantastic event."

The event is recommended for ages 6+ but Lego fans of all ages are welcome.

The Christmas Lego Party will take place at Budleigh Football Club on Saturday, December 14, between 10am and midday.

Tickets must be bought in advance. Tickets cost £7 per child with adults accompanying children given free entry. Tickets for adults on their own cost £7.
