Exmouth firefighters were called out to a crash in the Woodbury area this morning (Thursday 13 January) at around 9am.
The crash involved two vehicles. One of them went into a ditch, and the male driver was trapped inside.
Together with crews from Clyst St George and Middlemoor, the firefighters cut the roof off the car and got him out.
He was then taken to hospital.
