Exmouth man convicted for assaults and sentenced to 17 months in prison

An Exmouth man has been sentenced to 17 months in prison for two counts of assault.

Earlier in the year Exmouth Police investigated a series of assaults in the town centre. Including an incident where a man was punched through the window of his car while waiting at a junction.

Last week one of the offenders was sentenced to 17 months in prison for two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

As well as the victims, a number of other witnesses provided evidence to the police which helped to secure the conviction.
