An Exmouth community fitness group has launched a new beginners' running course for women and girls over the age of 14.

The Tri-Hards Community Fitness Project's new course will be free of charge and run for seven weeks.

Described as being 'great for mums and daughters', participants will work up to doing a five-kilometre run by the end of the course, and take part in a celebration run at the Exmouth parkrun.

The course will start on Thursday 6 January at 7pm. There are 21 places left at the time of writing.
