An Exmouth pub is hosting a Michael Jackson Party, featuring his film, a romp through his pop classics and dishes named after some of his biggest hits.

Spoken, on The Strand, will be holding this Michael Jackson extravaganza on Friday, November 15.

The MJ themed dishes include Chilli Jean, Griller, Blood Pudding On The Dance Floor and the Jackson 5 Bean Taco.

Spoken landlord George Nightingale explained: "I was just trawling through YouTube one day and listened to some songs. Whenever Michael Jackson is on everyone loves his music so why not make it an event.

"Not sure if this will work - but who cares, it'll be an awesome atmosphere and a totally different night out.

"Despite the bad press associated with him resulting in radio stations hardly playing his music any more - perhaps people are ready for an MJ fix!"

The evening will begin at 6.30pm and will kick off with the Michael Jackson movie played on a big screen followed by a whole of evening of Jackson classics.
