No crimes reported to police after Exmouth town centre brawl

No crimes have been reported to the police after a brawl in Exmouth town centre involving 20 youths.

The 'altercation' took place in The Strand just after midnight on Thursday, August 8, and involved around 20 youths, both male and female.

Devon and Cornwall Police have today confirmed that they can currently take no further action on the incident due to no crimes being reported to them following the 'altercation'.

The police log has now been closed. Exmouth Nub News has been in contact with Devon and Cornwall Police regarding the fight.

A police spokesperson said: "Police were informed of an altercation between around 20 youths, both males and females, at the Strand in Exmouth just past midnight on Thursday, August 8.

"Reports came in that a female was unconscious, however, was then reported to be okay.

"The group dispersed just before officers arrived at the scene. No crime has been reported to the police."
