PHOTOS from the scene of a murder investigation in East Devon

Emergency services remain at the scene of a murder investigation which was reported in the early hours of this morning (January 9).

The incident took place at a scrapyard just off the A3052 at Four Elms Hill near Newton Poppleford.

Officers from the Major Crime Investigating Team are at the scene for the initial stages of the murder enquiry.

A 30-year-old man remains in police custody following the incident in which a man in his 40s is thought to have died in a fatal caravan fire.
