Preparations are underway for this year's Commando Golf Day, all in aid of the Royal Marines Charity.

Supported by Exmouth Chamber of Commerce and the Commando Training Centre in Lympstone this year's event will take place on Thursday, June 4, at Exeter Golf and Country Club.

All proceeds from the day will go to The Royal Marines Charity, which helps to support serving and former Royal Marines and their families in time of need.

A spokesperson for Exmouth Chamber of Commerce said: "Help us to help those who have served their country and us.

"This is a great opportunity for your business team to help this important charity - as well as supporting on the day, or if you can't make it there yourself, please advertise this day to your friends, colleagues and family.

"There are also sponsorship opportunities for local businesses in the form of hole sponsors and raffle prizes, so if you are not a golfer but could help in this way, please get in touch."
