Join the council's StreetScene, Countryside and Housing teams for a fun activity filled day out at Phear Park in Exmouth on 1 August and help celebrate National Playday

It's National Playday on Wednesday 1 August, when everywhere across the country hundreds of community events will be taking place to encourage children and their families to get outside in the fresh air to play and have fun. The aim of the Playday campaign is to highlight the importance of play in children's lives and to give children and young people the opportunity to get outside to play for the day.

Here at East Devon District Council our StreetScene team is organising a free family fun event in Phear Park, Exmouth, from 11am to 3pm on Wednesday 1 August 2018. There will be a bouncy castle, face painting, garden games and circus skills to try, plus our Countryside and Housing teams will also be running a workshop.

National Playday was held for the first time last year and proved hugely popular, so please do come and join us in Phear Park and help make this event a great success again!

We look forward to seeing you on 1 August!!
