A local woman has raised a total of £1,411 in a skydive for Exmouth suicide bereavement charity Pete's Dragons.

Kirsty Thompson handed over a cheque for the amount to CEO Alison Jordan at the charity's offices on Exeter Road last week.

Kirsty said: "I chose to do a skydive for Pete's Dragons because they are a charity extremely close to our family's hearts and have been there for us during a suicide bereavement of a loved one.

"I don't know where I'd be without the support I received from Pete's Dragons and I am so grateful for the wide range of therapies and care that they provide for those bereaved by suicide."
