Air ambulance attends A376 Exmouth Road motorbike crash near Lympstone

Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called out to a crash involving a motorbike near Lympstone at around 8.50pm yesterday evening (Thursday 27 January).

The crash took place at the A376 Exmouth Road crossroads with Meeting Lane and Harefield Road.

The male motorcyclist sustained injuries and was taken to hospital, but they are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The road was closed until 1.15am.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "This was a report of a collision involving a motorcycle at Harefield Cross, Exmouth Road, Lympstone, at around 8.50pm on Thursday 27 January.

"Paramedics and the air ambulance also attended and a road closure was put in place on the A376.

"The male motorcyclist was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

"The road was reopened at around 1.15am."
