An art competition for children and teenagers has been announced by the town mayor and Exmouth In Bloom.

The organisers say they're looking for 'colourful pictures to reflect the positives of life in lockdown'.

Entrants are invited to create an A4-size drawing, painting or collage, using any art medium, and send it to the town council by the end of March.

There are three age categories: under six, seven to 11, and 12 to 16.

There will be prizes in each category, and the winners will be entered into the South West In Bloom national art competition.

Entrants should write their name, address and school on the back of their creation and send it to Mayor's Art Competition, Exmouth Town Council, Exmouth Town Hall, St Andrew's Road, Exmouth EX8 1AW
