East Devon District Council and Exmouth artist Anna Fitzgerald are encouraging people to help them spruce up the 'Abode of Love' on the seafront.

The Abode of Love is the name given to the concave bays in the sea wall defences on the beach near Ocean.

It is hoped that local people will join Anna and EDDC's Streetscene workers in rejuvenating the area and making an 'ever-changing collaborative mural'.

Ms Fitzgerald said: "I want to engage with everyone who loves Exmouth beach and uses the Abode. Our communities are really creative so we are working together to develop the site by transforming it into a collaborative canvas.

"I think it's important that everyone's voices are heard and I encourage any local people to get involved."

Cllr Nick Hookway added: "We know how important the Abode is for Exmouth communities so we wanted to engage them with the evolution of the site by creating opportunities to get involved. The partnership with East Devon District Council's Streetscene team will ensure the area remains safe and cared for."

You can get in touch online here or go down in person. Anna will be there every Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm.
