A burst water pipe has left many houses in Exmouth without water this afternoon.

South West Water engineers are on the scene currently attempting to repair the fault.

A spokesperson for South West Water said: "Our team are on site working to repair the burst. The majority of households are now back in water, however pressure may fluctuate whilst the full repair is taking place.

"There is no timescale for the full repair but we will update customer as soon as there is."
