Local police officers arrested an individual after executing a warrant at an address in Exmouth last week.

An unspecified amount of cannabis, controlled drugs and mobile phones were seized.

The person, described as male, was interviewed for possession with intent to supply and later released under investigation.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Last week officers from Exmouth Neighbourhood Team carried out a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant on a property in Exmouth.

"A quantity of cannabis, controlled drugs and mobile phones were seized. One male was arrested and interviewed for possession with intent to supply.

"The male was later released under investigation whilst enquiries are ongoing."
