Exeter based Charles Stanley Wealth Management Group have donated £1,000 to Exmouth RNLI.

The donation to the life saving charity was made today at the Lifeboat Station in Queens Drive, Exmouth by Chris Harris-Deane, Director of Investment Management at Charles Stanley. He met crew members and was given a guided tour of the station and the charities lifeboats, the Inshore Lifeboat George Bearman II and the All Weather Lifeboat R & J Welburn.

Chris said: "The RNLI volunteers here do a remarkable and often dangerous job and I'm very pleased to have the opportunity to make a donation to Exmouth RNLI that I consider to be a very important and worthwhile charity to support."

Simon Davidson, Chair of Exmouth RNLI Lifeboat Management Group, said: "We're very grateful to Chris and Charles Stanley for making this significant donation to Exmouth RNLI. This year Exmouth RNLI will be organising the Exmouth Fireworks display fundraiser on 5 November 2019 at the Recreation Ground, Exmouth. The generous contribution from Charles Stanley will be used towards sponsoring that event and, in turn, raising yet more vital funds for our charity."
