New Exmouth deli The Italian Store has launched a charity raffle, with the prize a 7.5kg milk chocolate egg from Italy.

All proceeds will go to Exmouth Friends in Need, a non-profit that helps prevent and alleviate poverty for local families.

Owner of The Italian Store Abas Muhedeen said: "I think sometimes you have got to take the opportunity to give something back.

"I get all my stuff from Italy, all the [chocolate] eggs I order from Italy, and I thought, I'll get the biggest egg I can and try and raise a little bit of money for charity.

"It looks unreal. No one believes that it is actually an egg."

You can buy a strip of five raffle tickets for £5 from The Italian Store on The Strand.

The winning ticket will be announced on Good Friday (7 April).
