Exmouth's Maer Rocks Festival is less than two weeks away and Nub News has put together a handy guide to help you get the most out of the festival.

Maer Rocks Festival, organised by Exmouth RNLI, is due to take place on Saturday, August 17, between 12pm and 9pm at the Queen's Drive Space, Exmouth.

The festival is part of the RNLI's Lifeboat Weekend celebrations. There will be live music throughout the day from some fantastic local bands, including:

-The Stereo Social

-Sarah Jory

-Haytor

-Reflex 80

-The Ultimate

-Rock The Night

-Telstar

-Bolynne

-Poppy Fardell

As well as the existing permanent Queen's Drive Space food stalls and bar, Good Game Topsham, Say Cheese, Quick Gin, BBQ Steam Train, and Crossed Anchors Brewing will all have stands at the event.

In addition, there will be face painting, sand art for children and a special visit from RNLI Mascot, Stormy Stan.

Other attractions will include RNLI volunteers with stalls such as the Exmouth RNLI Shop; The RNLI Face to Face team, Sea Safety stand, and the inflatable Shannon D - class Lifeboat.

There will also be appearances from RNLI Lifeguards, H.M. Coastguard, Devon & Cornwall Police and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service will be bringing along a fire engine, subject to operational commitments.

The free, family friendly festival will focus on promoting the RNLI's Sea Safety message to all, but with special emphasis on the younger generation and to highlight the current RNLI 'Respect The Water' and 'Float to Live' campaigns.
