A winter car parking deal of £2 for the whole day is set to take effect in East Devon.

The deal will last from Tuesday 1 November to the end of March 2023 and applies to all car parks operated by East Devon District Council.

A spokesperson said: "With this unbeatable winter offer, you are able to park in multiple locations throughout the whole day as all East Devon car parks across the district are eligible.

"Our winter car parking deal comes at the right time with Christmas just around the corner giving people even more reason to shop local and support their High Street. By reducing car park charges across the district, we hope it will help to boost trade over the winter, especially during the typically quieter months of January and February." 

Both cash and card payments are accepted and the special location code for the RingGo app is 42973.

The local authority has advised that although printed tickets might not show an expiry time of midnight they will still be valid for the whole day.
