Around 60 volunteers have helped to repaint the concave bays in the sea wall at Exmouth beach dubbed 'The Abode of Love'.

Holidaymakers, alongside a group of 40 teenagers and even the Countess of Devon and her children, have so far contributed.

Local artist Anna Fitzgerald and East Devon District Council's Streetscene workers are currently sprucing up the area with volunteers with the aim of making an 'ever-changing collaborative mural' over several sessions.

Anna said: "I want to engage with everyone who loves Exmouth beach and uses the Abode. Our communities are really creative so we are working together to develop the site by transforming it into a collaborative canvas.

"I think it's important that everyone's voices are heard and I encourage any local people to get involved."

To take part, you can get in touch online here or go down in person every Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm.
