An Exmouth artist is set to have his work exhibited at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery in Exeter next week.

Ray Balkwill's exhibition, 'The River's Voice', will be shown in the venue's café from Tuesday 7 December to 26 June 2022.

His work has reportedly been inspired by the Exe Estuary, and the 'people, culture, and history of his native county.'

In addition to sketches and paintings, he has also produced videos and books. The exhibition, too, features some of his 'mixed media assemblages' with objects washed up on shore.

The museum and art gallery on Queen Street is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm, and is closed on Mondays and bank holidays.

Admission is free, and all of Ray's works are for sale.
