Exmouth's Air Ambulance charity shop is appealing for donations to restock its shelves and clothes rails.
The shop can now accept donations without the need to book a visit – just come along and drop them in.
The appeal comes during an incredibly busy year for the air ambulance. Between January 1 and June 30, crews were deployed to 930 incidents, serving 577 patients.
Of those, 702 were attended by helicopter, and 228 by the Critical Care Cars.
In comparison, the crews were deployed to a total of 1,507 incidents and treated 870 patients throughout the whole of 2020.
How the charity shops have coped with the pandemic
Throughout the pandemic, the Devon Air Ambulance charity shops have exceeded the Covid-safe precautions recommended by Government to ensure the safety of their staff, volunteers and customers.
Now, following the latest lifting of restrictions, the shops remain cautious, but are fully open for business – and would welcome donations of items to be recycled and reused by a new owner.
