The event, which is 'probably the biggest free festival in the South West', is back for a 23rd year located at The Imperial Recreation Ground in Exmouth.

It will take place this weekend, the last May bank holiday, from Friday 24 to Monday 27.

The main body behind the festival is Exmouth Town Council, who are responsible for running the event and providing substantial funding.

A considerable amount is also raised through the generous contributions of festival goers - people are urged to give what they can to the Official Collectors there, to ensure the financial viability of this fantastic community event.

Exmouth Festival has earned respect as a highlight in Devon's cultural calendar; bringing thousands of people to the town in a celebration of local music, art and entertainment.

This year, people can look forward to the following headline acts; The Fabulous Beaver Brothers (Fri), T'Pau (Sat), Supreme Queen (Sun) and The Simmertones (Mon).

Added to the lineup is an eclectic array of other bands and musical offerings, along with a weekend of circus entertainment and family workshops taking place in The Big Top.

The event places a huge importance in 'keeping it green' and respecting its beautiful East Devon setting. Recycling facilities are provided throughout the site and reusable glasses will be served at the bar.
