Both fire engines from Exmouth were sent to a report of a garage on fire today (7 June) at almost 4.30pm in Raleigh Road.

On arrival, the fire crews smelt something burning inside the garage.

Using small tolls to access the building, they discovered a small fire inside a tin of roof resin which they removed from the garage into the open air.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
