A festival to raise awareness of plastic pollution is set to be held next Sunday 5 September at the Sideshore watersports centre on Exmouth seafront.

Lasting from 10am-4pm, the day will be organised by local community group Plastic Free Exmouth and will be the very first festival of its kind to take place in the town.

At the event, you can expect to find plastic-free crafters, businesses, music, and environmental groups.

Jo Earlam, author of children's books Tuamor the Turtle and Rosa's Footprint, will be giving readings throughout the day, and the 'Creative Cabin' will have opportunities to make various arts and crafts.
