Works to improve the football pitch in Brixington Park are set to take place this summer, according to East Devon District Council.

New goal posts are also expected in the autumn.

The works will be to improve drainage and will cost £46,500.

It reportedly needs to be done in late summer to 'maximise the germination window for the soil and seed' on the newly levelled football pitch.

When the drainage work is finished, new goal post frames and sockets will be put in.
