Exmouth in Bloom takes part in Great British Spring Clean
Volunteers from Exmouth in Bloom took part in the Great British Spring Clean last weekend and, armed with sponges, buckets, and brooms, gave the town a good scrub.
The Great British Spring Clean is an annual nationwide event, and encourages local residents to pick up as much litter as they can, this year lasting from 25 March-10 April.
Representatives from several other local groups including Walk and Talk and Plastic Free Exmouth also took part.
Exmouth in Bloom chose the Magnolia Centre as its patch to clean, scrubbing bins and planters, sweeping up stray foliage, and more.
A spokesperson for Exmouth in Bloom said: "Well done and thank you to our wonderful team.
"Our trolley was loaded with water, buckets, sponges, brooms, long weeding tools and pretty much anything else needed for cleaning the Magnolia Shopping Centre, which we had chosen as our patch!
"Not the nicest job in the world but we still had a lot of fun."
