Katie McCabe, 14, has reached Scotland after embarking on her solo sail around the island of Great Britain last month (Wednesday 30 June).

She arrived in Scotland on Tuesday 20 July, and is currently approaching Aberdeen.

Soon she will sail around and down through the Scottish islands and past Wales to Land's End, and hopes to arrive back in the Exe Estuary in August.

If she completes her journey, she will be the youngest person to sail solo around Great Britain.
