The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain.

The organisation said that 'heavy rain is likely to produce some disruption this evening and overnight.'

The warning will take effect from 5pm today (Monday 4 October), and last until 4am tomorrow (Tuesday 5 October).

The Met Office is advising the public that a few homes and businesses could be flooded, bus and train services affected, and flooding on roads could increase journey times.

You can find further advice on travelling in storms, rain, and strong winds here.
