A recent Christmas coffee morning event has seen as much as £117 raised for the Exmouth Museum.
Held at the Axis Centre on 16 December, the event was well attended and saw Exmouth Mayor Steve Gazzard win a seasonal hamper in the raffle.
A spokesperson for the museum said: "The raffle was well supported and a big thank you to the Exmouth Co-op for providing such a beautiful wicker hamper full of seasonal goodies which was the first prize.
"The other prizes were kindly donated by members of the public as well as museum committee members were eagerly snapped up by the other lucky ticket holders drawn out of the hat.
"A special thank you to Richard and all at The Point Bar and Grill who recently held a quiz night there and raised an incredible £80 for the museum funds - so a massive thank you.
"It has been an incredibly successful year for the museum and rounded off in great style with a well attended Christmas social event.
"The trustees and management committee would like to say a big thank you to all of you who have supported the museum throughout the year in one way or another and we wish you all a very merry Christmas and happy and healthy New Year."
Exmouth Museum's next coffee morning will take place on Thursday 20 January at the Axis Centre, Market Street (by Natwest Bank) from 10.30am.
The museum itself is reportedly being refurbished over the winter and will reopen on 4 April.
