Exmouth RNLI's water safety team and Exeter Chiefs collaborated to host a junior beach rugby festival on Exmouth Beach.

This was a combined water safety and tag rugby tournament. The winning trophies were a RNLI welly boot and RNLI crew helmet both signed by the Exeter Chiefs ladies' team.

This was organised by the water safety officer at Exmouth Lifeboat Station.

There were 320 interventions with groups of players, coaches and the parents about 'float to live' and beach safety.

We gave out goodie bags and 'float to live' rubber wrist bands. These can be used by parents to write their mobile number on incase the child gets separated.
