Exmouth lifeboat called to sinking jetski

Lifeboat volunteers went to the aid of a jetskier in difficulty on Sunday, March 21.
The inshore lifeboat George Bearman II was launched after the coastguard reported the jetski sinking off Pole Sands.
The lifeboat - commanded by Helm Henry Mock and volunteer lifeboat crew Guy Munnings and David Preece - found the vessel at 6.03pm and it was towed to Mamhead slipway.
The jetskier had been properly equipped with a radio, lifejacket and wetsuit, but the jetski had developed a fault.
Having secured the safety of the vessel and its occupant, the lifeboat volunteers made their way back to the lifeboat station where the boat was back on service a short time later.
The RNLI's safety advice for jetskiers can be seen here.
