The Exmouth Stroke Survivors Club coffee morning at Brixington Church was supported by the Mayor of Exmouth Steve Gazzard.

The mayor has been very supportive of our club. We love to see new members come and join us; if you're lonely and just want to come and join people, we are a friendly club.

Club member Steve said: "It's like a family. I know what it's like being stuck indoors for hours on end seeing no one, unless a carer comes in.

"Our group meets on a Wednesday down Exmouth Library 10.30am-12pm. We have trips, talks, games, tea, coffee, and even cooking classes soon.

"The club will also meeting on a Monday evening soon for quiz night and bingo."

If you would like to join, please contact Steve on 01395 744362.

The club meets at Exmouth Library on Wednesdays from 10.30am-12pm each week, and carers are welcome to attend.
