The Great British Bake Off may have ended this evening but an Exmouth youngster is helping himself to another slice of the action by taking part in this year's Junior Great British Bake Off.

Exmouth Community College announced this evening that a student called George will be taking part in this year's programme.

The college took to social media this evening to announce the news: "The news is out! We are very excited that one of our super talented students is taking part in this year's Junior Bake off on Channel 4.

"We wish George all the luck with the competition and cannot wait to see him in action! Not only is George a talented baker but he is also a great performer both in Drama and Music, so we know he will be one to watch!"

This year's programme will be presented by Channel 4 comedian and author Harry Hill, he will be joined in the tent by Liam Charles, who appeared on GBBO series eight and currently hosts Bake Off: The Professionals.

Catch George on Channel 4 from Monday 4th November at 5pm.
