After a very wet week with a weather warning issued by the Met Office between 3pm on Thursday and 9pm on Friday, this weekend will see a slight improvement.

Saturday will be dry, with a cloudy start. From 3pm, Exmouth residents can expect sunny intervals then sunshine into the evening.

Sunday, however, is not looking good. A wet start to the day will lead to heavy rain until well into the evening, and members of the public should be aware that a strong wind gusting up to 42mph can be expected.

Make sure to take extra care at the beach, as high winds can cause large waves and blow sand onto the promenade.
