Exmouth's Manor Gardens gets new 'bug hotel'

Officers from East Devon District Council have now installed a new 'bug hotel' in Exmouth's Manor Gardens.

A bug hotel reportedly helps small insects and 'minibeasts' like bees, spiders, and ladybirds use the space to take shelter from predators and lay eggs.

It has been built in preparation for autumn, when many species hibernate.

You can read more about bug hotels, and find out how to build your own, on the RSPB website here.
