Fire crews called to shed on fire in Exmouth

The fire service were called to a garden shed on fire in St Brian Way in Exmouth at 9.34am today.

Two crews from Exmouth attended the scene.

A statement from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue read: "On arrival the crews confirmed that the shed was well alight and that the fire had spread to a nearby fence and garage.

"The crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one covering jet to extinguish the fire and one thermal imaging camera and small tools to make the area safe.

"The shed was completely destroyed by the fire, the fence was fifty percent damaged by the fire and the garage was five percent damaged by the fire."
