Firefighters were called to a boat fire in Exmouth in the early hours of this morning.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to a boat fire near the Imperial Recreation Ground at around 1.30am.

Two fire crews from Exmouth were sent to the incident. When firefighters reached the scene they found, 'a boat, moored, well alight'.

The boat is described as approximately 10ft by 35ft, made of wood and fibre glass.
