Firefighters from Exmouth and Sidmouth were sent to put out a car fire in Aylesbeare last night.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were sent to the incident at around 10.44pm yesterday (July 27).

The car was already 'well alight' when firefighters arrived. Fire crews used two hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to put out the fire.

The cause of the fire has been deemed accidental, although officers from Devon and Cornwall Police did attend the scene.
