The Environment Agency has issued flood warnings for a number of East Devon rivers.

The Rivers Otter and Sid have flood alerts in place for Sunday morning and flooding is also possible in the Exmouth area.

Here is the official warning from the Environment Agency: "Flooding is possible in the early hours of Sunday morning. Heavy rainfall is expected from Saturday afternoon until the early hours of Sunday morning.

"Levels suggest that there could be flooding to low lying land and roads close to rivers. Further rain is forecast for Monday and Tuesday which will cause river levels to remain high.

"Take care near the areas of concern and monitor your local weather conditions. We are constantly monitoring river levels and the potential for flood warnings. We have staff in the area checking for and clearing blockages."
