More than 50 new host families for Ukraine refugees are needed in East Devon, according to the district council.
The area is currently hosting more than 300 refugees as part of the UK Government Homes for Ukraine scheme.
Locations preferred by the council include Exmouth and areas close to Exeter such as Cranbrook, Broadclyst and Ottery St Mary, as well as Sidmouth, Honiton, Seaton and Axminster.
If you have a spare room, annex, Airbnb, a house or any form of accommodation you are willing to offer to Ukrainian guests seeking sanctuary, you will reportedly receive £500 a month in thank-you payments.
Pet-friendly households are especially being sought for families who escaped with their animals, such as cats and dogs.
East Devon District Council said that its environmental health team carries out home inspections and takes "particular care to make sure guests and hosts are well matched."
