How you can pay your respects to Queen Elizabeth in Exmouth and Budleigh

Members of the public wishing to pay their respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton can now do so by laying flowers and signing books of condolence.

The union flag is currently being flown at half-mast in Exmouth's Manor Gardens, along the seafront, and in Budleigh Salterton.

Tributes have also been made by leading figures in the town following the announcement that the Queen had passed away peacefully at Balmoral yesterday afternoon.

How can I pay my respects?

Flowers can be left at the war memorial in the Strand, Exmouth

Flowers may be left around and in front of the war memorial at the Strand in Exmouth, and at the Green at Budleigh Salterton. 

Books of condolence for people to sign can be found in the offices of Exmouth Town Council (9am to 5pm) next to Manor Gardens and Budleigh Salterton Town Council on Station Road.

Another book of condolence has been opened at Holy Trinity Church on Rolle Street in Exmouth (9am to 5pm).

There is also a book of condolence open at Otter Valley Funerals on Brook Road in Budleigh Salterton.
