Kitchen Assistant – Exmouth

Our client offers a range of friendly, welcoming, and professional support services, including occasional day care, to assisted living providing the independence many of our resident's desire, through to specialist dementia care for those in most need of our support.

They are looking for full or part time Kitchen Assistant to join their team to work in their Care Home in the Exmouth area.

Day to Day:

-You will put the resident's nutritional health and wellbeing at the heart of everything you do.

-You will assist with the preparation and serving of meals to our residents, ensuring all special dietary needs are met and prepare texture modified food as directed.

-You will maintain records and control stock rotation, ensure the kitchen and service areas are always clean and hygienic.

Requirements:

-Experience in the catering industry is beneficial although not essential.

-Food handling course qualification would be desirable.

-You should have good judgement, problem solving.

-You will always be expected to work within our client staff values and promote these by being an effective communicator, passionate about your work, encouraging team working and having a positive attitude.

-Overall, you will be compassionate, excellent communicator and determined to deliver quality care whilst inspiring your team around you.

Cleaning Operative – Exmouth

The purpose of this post is to ensure we provide a safe and healthy environment for our clients to live in.

Duties will include maintaining the cleanliness of the communal areas, including kitchens or bathrooms, as well as supporting the team in cleaning client's rooms when they have moved out.

Therefore, candidates will need to have good working knowledge of Health and Safety, a basic knowledge of IT and be comfortable working alone.

You will possess effective communication skills, approach your work and clients in a non-judgemental way including those displaying challenging behaviour.

We urgently require cleaners to work on an on-going basis in a Care Home in the Exmouth area.

We are looking for cleaners that are happy to work within a team and provide deep room cleaning on the wards.

This position will be an ongoing shift basis working Monday to Sunday. Shifts in the morning, afternoon and nights are available.

With this position, we are looking for flexible people.

Duties include:

-Deep cleans of ward rooms

-Deep clean of the floors and side boards

-Discarding of rubbish

-Providing any other cleaning services that the supervisors require you to do

Person Specification:

-Must have excellent communication skills

-Previous cleaning experience is essential

-Must have a DBS issued within the last 12 months or happy to pay

Support Worker – Exmouth
