Date: 15.08.2018Time: 04:46Location: Greendale Business Park, Woodbury SaltertonThe Fire Service were called to a report of hay bales on fire within a field at the above location.  Initially one fire appliance from Middlemoor was mobilised to this incident and then they requested a further appliance for compressed air foam which attended from Danes Castle. This is approximately 300 to 400 large straw bales well alight, crews at work with two hose reel jets and a telehandler was also requested to assist with extinguishing the fire.  A water carrier from Danes Castle was also mobilised due to water supply issues and to aid in protecting adjacent buildings.  Further details to follow ..
