The latest crime figures released by police show there were a total of 147 crimes in the wider Exmouth area during October 2020. 

These figures compare to 160 crimes the previous month and 202 in October 2019.

From the 147 recorded incidents, 88 took place in Exmouth Town, 32 in Exmouth Halsden and Withycombe, and 27 in Exmouth Littleham.

In Exmouth Town, crimes included 44 incidents of violence and sexual offences, 24 incidents of anti-social behaviour, five relating to drugs and 15 listed as 'other crimes'.

In Exmouth Halsden and Withycombe, there were 14 incidents of violence and sexual offences, eight of anti-social behaviour, four of criminal damage and arson, and six 'other crimes'.

In Exmouth Littleham, recorded crimes included 11 incidents of violence and sexual offences, six of anti-social behaviour, six of criminal damage and arson, and four 'other crimes'.

Crime figures for November 2020 have not yet been released.
