The results of the 2023 local elections have now been released.

The newly elected councillors for East Devon District Council and Exmouth Town Council are confirmed below, together with the number of votes for each candidate who stood.

East Devon District Council

Exmouth Brixington (three councillors elected)

  • Maddy Chapman (Conservative): 734 - HOLD
  • Fred Caygill (Conservative): 673 - HOLD
  • Cherry Nicholas (Conservative): 662 - GAIN FROM LIB DEM
  • Andrew Colman (Liberal Democrats): 579
  • Jamie Wickenden (Labour): 559
  • Aurora Bailey (Independent): 518
  • Ian Kirvan (Independent): 471

Exmouth Halsdon (three councillors elected)
