Exmouth based marketing company Vibrant Pulse has created an online system to help businesses offer home delivery and collection slots.

According to the company's CEO their system is cheaper than the alternatives, such as JustEat, and he is not aiming to profit from the system.

The system is already up and running for Exmouth's Noodle Bowl and Marco's Italian in Budleigh Salterton.

Vibrant Pulse CEO Daniel Fox told Nub News: "We have taken it upon ourselves to try and lend some help to restaurants and takeaways locally. Basically, what we have done, is create an online method to allow people to book a home delivery and/or collection slot that you can limit.

"Not only helping with social distancing but enable you to have an income stream. On top of this, unlike JustEat, we do not charge the 14%+vat commission per sale, just a straight £10 a month hosting fee and one low-cost setup cost, we are not aiming to profit.

"Not only are they getting sales in, they are also increasing the mailing lists and connecting people with their Facebook pages, further improving future marketing potential also.

"We are also offering as much help as we can to them during these tougher times. This is a genuine offer of help and if this is something that will help you, please do get in touch, or you can find out more info here."

The idea to offer this service to local businesses came from Daniel's experience in the hospitality industry.

Daniel is hoping Vibrant Pulse's new system enables business to access an online audience previously out of reach to some.

"The hospitality trade is part of the heart and soul of any community," said Daniel.

"Before setting up Vibrant Pulse 16 years ago, I had many years of experience in the catering trade and felt that with my unique skill sets, I was well placed to be able to help.

"So pulling on my decades of experience in both industries, I realised that moving online was the way to help generate an income stream for many local restaurant and takeaway owners but the existing solutions like Just Eat, took a big 14%+vat slice of any sale as a commission.

"I wanted to develop a solution that put more money back into the pocket of the local community, helping keep businesses open, people employed and the heart of any community ticking."
