Exe Fishing is offering mackerel and reef fishing trips throughout the summer.

Mackerel trips last around two hours and are ideal for families or those who've never fished before.

Reef trips are roughly three hours long, and are suitable for families with older children or groups seeking a wider variety of fish.

A spokesperson said on their website: "Use of rods, tackle and bait is included in the price, as is help on casting and catching.

"Whatever you catch, you keep (or release, your choice)!

"Please dress according to the weather as the vessel has limited cover.

"It is not guaranteed you will catch fish as this is dependent on the seasons, but your skipper will do what they can to get you on the fish and cast appropriately.

"We have toilets and basic refreshments on board and well behaved dogs and assistance dogs are more than welcome!"

Prices for mackerel fishing are £13 for those fishing and £5 for spectators.

Prices for reef fishing are £17 and £7 respectively.
