People in Exmouth and across the UK will be stopping to hold a minute's silence for health, care and other keyworkers who have lost their lives to the coronavirus tomorrow.

East Devon District Council has backed the idea, announced today by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The minute's silence will take place at 11am tomorrow (Tuesday, April 28) morning.

A spokesperson for East Devon District Council said: "We're proud to support International Workers' Memorial Day and World Day for Safety and Health at Work on April 28, 2020. We will be observing the minute's silence at 11am."
