A new bicycle rental shop has opened on Exmouth seafront.

The Bike Hut, located at the Sideshore development, is the latest venture of Exmouth Cycles on Victoria Road.

Adult, child and kick bikes are available to hire by the hour for £10, tandems for £20 and e-bikes for £25.

Sarah Greenacre, girlfriend of owner Andy Grist, told Nub News: "We are offering hourly bike hire at the beach to give locals and visitors the opportunity to easily grab a bike and explore Exmouth.

"We will also be hiring out an electric mobility scooter for those unable to ride so they don't miss out on cruising the beautiful seafront.

"We will also be offering local route info, eco-friendly gifts and bike bits such as water bottles, puncture repair kits and little pick-me-ups for any cyclists or walkers that pass by."

Its opening hours are not yet certain, but for the next fortnight and bank holiday it will be open seven days a week.
